Before Ordering


After receiving an storefront order request, no payment is made until we confirm your shipping address and order stock by email. After we've contacted you and confirmed your information and order, we send you an invoice that can by paid by STRIPE, Paypal, INTERAC, or other methods.


For any modification requests related to your shipping address, shipping name, email, phone number, or requested order items, please email us at [email protected] prior to making payment.

Please note that we are NOT responsible for any undeliverable packages due to a wrong address provided to us. You know your own mailing address best, so please make sure it’s accurate!


As we mail out soon after payment is processed, we cannot cancel, exchange or refund paid items.

Due to the nature of our products, cancellation after the item is mailed, returns and exchanges are not accepted. If you are uncertain about the size and look of a particular item, please request specific measurements or details prior to purchase.


We have at least 1 new item posted for sale every month, however this may be subject to changes. Please join our mailing list, "Mew-Ji Speaks!", or follow us on Instagram (@robotsakura.official) for the latest updates.


As each crochet item is handcrafted, we do not restock any duplicate products once they sell out. However, we may create similar ones in the future. We take care to photograph each individual item and assign it a unique SKU code in our storefront. This way, the crochet item you're viewing is the same one that is available for purchase. If an item sells out, that specific version is no longer available and cannot be made exactly that way again.
If you are interested in commissioning a similar crochet item based on one you've seen in our store in the past or elsewhere online, you can let us know by email ([email protected]), or reach out to us on Instagram (@robotsakura.official). While we consider commissions, our priority is working on new crochet or pattern variations.


🧊 Explore Your Plush Wonders in 3D!

We strive to provide the best written descriptions and photos / social media videos of any items we well. If a clearer understanding of a product's look is needed, or you'd like to own a shareable, downloadable 3D model of your plush toy - we suggest a 3D scan!


We offer a digital service for any physical products sold by RobotSakura that includes high resolution 3D scans of our products that you can view from any angle.

This is made possible by our Pro subscription to the wonderful KIRI ENGINE platform: it allows creators to create and display a fully textured 3D scan in any web browser. That 3D plush toy can also be shared online or downloaded as a textured model.

Not only is this fun way to see a plush toy, it allows you to see all angles of an item before purchase. Individual product scans are available for $10 per item, and can be ordered separately on our storefront. If you choose to pay for one 3D scan but purchase more than one physical plushie within the same order, we will provide you with an individual scan of each plushie in your order at no additional cost.

🤳🧸 We love to see social media reviews of our products, so if you share our work on any platform (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Youtube, etc.) and show off any purchased items - let us know! We'll email you a special 3D scanned plushie for your collection as a thank-you!


Yes, we offer customization options for some items including alternate "baby-safe" felt eyes, accessories and more. Feel free to contact us with what you have in mind!


We accept a variety of payment methods that are handled by secure payment handlers like STRIPE and Paypal. These payment sources including credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal. Choose the option that suits you best during the checkout process, and we'll issue you a payable invoice using the platform of your choice.

For Canadians specifically, we also accept INTERAC email money transfers. For those opting for this method, we're happy to pass along payment handling fee saving to our customers: Paying by INTERAC transfer saves 2.5% off your total order. As this method is specific to Canadian banks, this option is only available for Canadian orders.
For customers worldwide we recommend either STRIPE or Paypal.


We are happy to combine orders until the item(s) are mailed out, but this is at our discretion.

Please note that adding volume and weight to an order does increase the shipping cost, so a revised quote will be sent to you before the combined shipment can be sent.


Shipping Questions


Mostly! We ship all over the world with a few exceptions. In our experience in online sales through eBay (1998-2018), some parts of the world have issues with packages being repeatedly lost, held, or bounced by local customs. In some instances, packages in certain regions were pillaged by post office staff prior to delivery. To avoid heartache for us and customers in those regions, we limit our shipping to the following regions:

-Canada (Nationwide), -United States (Nationwide), -UK (Including Ireland and Scotland), -Australia, -New Zealand, -South Korea, and -Japan. Please note that shipping is from Canada, so all ‘overseas’ shipping methods are required to be Airmail and Trackable/Insured which makes the item's shipping cost higher than domestic shipping rates.

Shipping cost is based on weight and the overall dimensions of the package. An estimate based on region is provided during our storefront’s ordering process, but we calculate shipping options specifically for your address when composing your invoice.

Please note: For UK and EU customers, there is an added VAT tax that is calculated based on order value and shipping cost combined. Any customs and handling fees must be paid when your order arrives in your country, and you may need to pick up your order at the local post office. We will not collect VAT during the point-of-sale.


For items already crafted and posted for sale in our storefront that are placed under order, the general processing time is 1-2 business days. During that time we confirm your order's contents, shipping information and payment preferences with you by email and provide a payable invoice based on your chosen method.
Once payment is received, we do our mail outs on Fridays. Processing time can increase during sales or high volume order periods. Please note that that processing time DOES NOT include delivery time.


All orders are shipped in a box, as envelope or bubble mailers risk damage to the handmade products inside. We currently offer multiple methods of shipping. If you have any special requests regarding the packing of your order or shipment method, please send us an email before placing an order, or include your comments in the "Message" section of the order form.


We primarily use CanadaPost but also offer DHL to international customers. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method prior to payment after we provide you shipping quote options based on your mailing address.


All goods shipped internationally must pass through customs before they are allowed to enter or exit a country. We are not responsible for any customs, taxes, and import duties that may be issued by your country.

International customers can occasionally experience long delays and holdups at customs. We are not responsible for any packages that are held up or returned due to customs. If the package is returned to us due to inability to deliver to the address specified by the customer, then the customer will be responsible for any reshipment costs.


After you’ve placed your order request through our storefront, an order page you can bookmark is made available ("Track your order "). When we ship your order after payment is made, tracking is emailed to the email address used during checkout once your order has shipped. This information will also appear as a comment on your "Track your order" page’s "Timeline".

For most international orders, CanadaPost tracking only allows visibility into when the item arrives at the destination country. We unfortunately have no way of tracking movement of the package within your country.


Delivery Questions


In cases where your package is returned to us for any reason, such as the wrong address or unclaimed mail, we will require a re-payment of the shipping fees if you want your order to be reshipped. We will notify you if we recieve any bounced package, and are happy to provide photos of the package if requested.

If a refund is warranted, we will require a 15% restocking fee to be deducted from your order amount. Shipping fees are non-refundable.


We are NOT responsible for lost or damaged packages. Once your item has been marked shipped, we no longer have control of it. Customers can purchase insurance, which is added to the shipping total if you are worried about your package getting lost or damaged. Insurance on parcels mailed during the holiday season is highly recommended as mail volume can increase, which could lead to mail carriers prioritizing speed over handling care. We keep photographic records of all processed orders for quality assurance.

If your order has not been marked delivered, and it has been over 4 weeks (domestic) or 10 weeks (international) from your shipment confirmed date, please contact us at [email protected].


As this is a handmade item home business, we want to ensure it is sustainable: One reason we provide individual shipping quotes for each order is to ensure that no one is overpaying or underpaying for postage.

Our shipping cost not only includes the postage fee but also includes the cost of packaging materials (i.e. box, bag, air cushioning, etc.), handling fees (i.e. CanadaPost’s automatic fees, fuel for transportation, processing fees), and shipping/logistics fees.

Please keep in mind, postage fee is only a small fraction of our shipping & handling cost. By purchasing from our shop, you agree you understand these costs are associated with your purchase.


Reselling and other Policies


Unless otherwise noted, all crochet amigurumi plush or accessories sold are derived from free or paid patterns created by others. We take care to only make available for sale items that are produced from patterns where the original designer is credited and has permitted works derived from their original pattern to be sold. If you want to resell or mass-produce these items, we recommend reaching out to the original pattern designer linked from the listing or photo.

All other artwork, illustrations, graphics, characters, logos, and designs are copyrighted works of RobotSakura. All designs and items are for personal use only and any unlawful redistribution, reproduction, alteration, or transmission of any illustrations, artwork, graphic, characters, logos, and/or design on this website in any form or by any means, is strictly prohibited and punishable by USA, Canada and international copyright laws.

We do not give permission to any reselling of our items.

The internet and social media are wonderful tools for crafters and makers. However, from time to time this can also connect people whose motives are less than positive. As such, RobotSakura has the right to cancel any orders that violate any part of our store policy as well as revoke all shopping privileges on www.robotsakura.com, online storefront or Instagram to any individuals without further notice. We hope this clause isn’t needed!
